Good Morning Mr. B

I have asked this question in the past and then,  somehow,  miss the answer.    What is the definition of the term delivery?   Does that mean delivery from China to the US,  delivery to distributor,  or something else?

Good Morning All,

The only choice you will have with the Bachmann Value Sound engines is one or two types of horns.

General Discussion / Re: EBT questions
November 21, 2012, 06:24:50 AM
ebtnut,

I stopped by Orbisonia on my way home from my annual October weekend on the west slope of NS.   I had a chance to speak to a member of the trolley group.
The first thing he told me was that Orbisonia is really hurting due to the lack of tourism.   The second thing he told was that there was two levels of funding for operating the railroad that had been approved for next year.   Do you have any knowledge of this funding and how many levels of funding is needed to run the trains?

HO / Re: E-Z Track 36 inch straight

Tom,

Adari is correct.   I work in a train store in the nw subs of Philadelphia and we carry the 36 in straight EZ track sections.   Price is either $10 or $12 but cannot remember for sure.

Mark,

You are correct as to MMI putting On30 wheel size under the same body as the On3 version of the K27.    I have two of the On30 K27s and can tell you that I have seen both versions side by side and without turning the engines upside down you cannot tell which is which.   Realize,   the difference between the two is a 1/16 of an inch on either side of frame.

Jerry,

Any time you might get up this way,  you would more than welcome.  Like I said,  one guy came back on Sunday and actually ran trains.   That is the whole reason for my railroads now....for people to come and have fun.

Jeff,

I was extremely pleased with my visitor headcount.  Saturday we had 17 people and Sunday we had 51 come thru.  There was one guy who had so much fun that he came back on Sunday and we gave him a throttle and he ran trains for about 3 hours.  We had another guy who came and spent about an hour or hour and a half on both days.  I also about 8 people who have signed up for an improptu ops session,  some Tuesday night either very early December or sometime in January. We have already discussed the possibility of doing this again next year.   Of course,  that is up to the good Lord's will.

Good Evening all,

November is national model railroad month.    Here in the east is a website,  www.modelrailroadopenhouse.com that will give you a schedule of open houses,  mostly in private homes.   It covers eastern Pa,  NJ,  De, and small sampling of Maryland.
When you get to the site,  a small block calender will appear.   Click on a date and you will find info on anyone who is open to the public as well as the size trains they run.
I am in the NE subs of Philadelphia,  in Hatboro, Pa.   I am open Nov 3&4 from 12-4pm showing HO,  HOn3,  and On30.  If you come to my place,  let me know that you are a fellow Bachmann Forum friend.

I agree Kevin.   The items available from Mount Blue are very nice and fun to build.  Here is a picture of one of their kits I built a couple of years ago.

Dwayne,

I wish I could answer your question,  but I really do not know the difference between the two styles.   You might ask that question directly to DRL.  Thanks for yor respose on the interior color of the EBT cabooses.

S Calloway,

Does your question about the EBT coaches refer to the kits from DRL or the actual coaches themselves?

Good Evening All,

For anyone interested in an EBT style caboose,  go to the Deerfield River website.   They offer the caboose as a laser cut kit.   I have two of them to build,  but to date,  no one can tell me for sure,  what the interior color is of the EBT cabooses.

Good Morning All,

I think the better solution would have been to send our inquiring friend to the new products announcement thread in general discussion.   That being said,  I have a question as to the term "shipping".   Does that mean from China to US,  Bachmann to distributors,  or to the store fronts?
