I have bought a Williams by Williams GG-1 scale GG-1 Engine and I'm missing one head light lens from one end and horn/bell doesn't work but I hear a very faint buzz every so often from the engine. I'm not sure how old it is but it looks like new. in original box and shipping carton. and original paperwork including warranty card. Question is this covered under the new Williams by Bachmann and if so how much do I need to send with this engine for there service/return shipping fee?

Large / Different size engines

I have a 4-6-0 PA steamer and it is about 1/3 to 1/2 the size again bigger than a 2-4-2 UP #19 I have gotten Thur a eBay sale. Is this an older type engine no longer made.
In other words are all the engines made now the bigger ones or do they still make the smaller ones also.

How does Lionel Super-O compare to Gargraves?

Joe
Joe Super O track snaps together and has a clip that goes on the middle bar between the 2 pieces. A lot use to say that the bar would cut your roller in 2 but that is not true and has been proved wrong what has caused this is arc-king from a roller not turning properly because of build up in it or other shorting problem. Super O had plastic ties and looked like real track like gargraves. I personally would prefer Super O if I could afford it as it was the track I started on way back in 1963/4 . I miss that track but can't really afford it now and a lot of the track you get now has broken pins from outer rails and its hard to get old out and replace them.

First that would be great as super O is still sought after especially on EBAY . I did hear about a year ago thou there is a company that does make it but I don't believe they have the finacial means to mass produce it to where it avaible in quanity to cover all wanters of it. I also seem to think its some small company ( small compare to Bachmann, Lionel, MTH exct.) out of PA. Just don't remember any more on it.

I bought this from a deler on Ebay back about a year ago and never gave it a second thought as he stated Bachmann G gauge track With transformer and terminal bar. I'm starting to think like you its not Bachmann but maybe new bright for there electric sets. No name or anything on the under side but the bachmann one (the 12" piece) stated Bachmann china I have to amit but didn't want to that when I measured the 2 as saw they were 2 different legnths that the first track ( track on the right shorter) that maybe this wasn't all Bachmann as I thought. Well this answers this question I have enough of the junk for a oval of track .

Well al I really wanted was enough to make a shelf layout in my train room as I'm basicly into O gauge trains I collect Lionel. I also have one train set in Standard gauge set from 1931 which is about the size of G except it runs on 3 rails like all good trains should  ;) So now I can safely bid on Bachmann straight track for my layout and know what I need to get and ask questions befor bidding to make sure I get the correct track lol.

By the way I believe lionel track was brass but the same shape of the Bachmann thats why I think New Bright

Joe I'm going to try and insert a pic this is both Bachmann G scale ( large scale) track the one on the right is the original track I have and the straight pieces are only 10.25 inches long where the new track (came with Pennsylavian set are 12" long and the pins are on opposite sides

The new piece has like a blackened connector pin where the old piece the pin is silver in color like the rest of the track

I also always thought that williams kinda hurt themselves with whoever they had to do photos for catalogs and all as they really didn't give you great shots there. all I can say is I love the williams I have and had.

the 72 footers your talking about are nice I had a set of them inB&O but sold to a freind as I didn't have the room to run them right they stat 31" but they look cramped on that you really need 54" or more. there 18" long.
