You can buy one from one from Bachmann. Press 'Order Parts' on the left & you'll find it in there.

I am aware that the 'Thomas' Holiday Special' set includes a snow plough but does anybody have any ideas of how I could get my hands on one instead of making my own, or purchasing the set (which I don't really want to do as I have no need for accessories that come with it.)
If you wanted to use the Bachmann snow plow you would have to buy the set. It is only compatible with the Thomas from the set.

Spencer's coaches are already out, Chris, old buddie. :)
I know. But I was talking about the special coaches that look like Spencer's coach. I was hoping for a Special Composite & a Special Brake Coach. Also, how did you know my name is Chris?

Thank you. If I am able to find a suitable coach for the 'Works Unit' then yes, but I don't know if anybody has any ideas regarding the type I could use or where I could look to get some ideas? I might convert the hornby track cleaning coach into something that resembles the coach unit then.
For the 'Works Unit' coah you could use the Tomy model that comes with Harvey & modify it.

Using a toy!!! :P  What are you thinking TF247!?! :P
I'm thinking it would would work. Corrie used an ERTL Toad, Jack used a Tomy Henrietta, ERTL Ben, AND something else but I forget. I used an ERTL Henrietta (though it sucked (the finished model)). It's worked for lots of people.

I might actually put money on the hook and loop... Those are much more widespread in the LS world... The trains can be used outdoors, the track cannot. There is no such think is G scale... It is a 1/32 scale train on 45mm/#1 Gauge track.
Actually there is such thing as G-Scale. It's the same as Large Scale & 1 Gauge.

Also: 1. Will the engines be compatible with outdoor use? 2. Will they have special effects (smoke units, lighted lamps, etc.)? 3. Will the couplers be hook & loop, knuckle, or british couplers (couplers used for real british trains)?

Thomas & Friends / Question for Mr. B
January 22, 2009, 06:39:26 PM
  Dear Mr. B,
Do you have to have some kind of membership to attend the Toy Fair 2009 or do you just have to pay a fee at the door??? I want to get there to see the announcements for the G-Scale Thomas Range.

Thanks,
Christian

I use Black E-Z Track. I like it, but it tends to be very bad in performance. I have black, but I am highly considering replacing it with some other track, because it performs badly. You have to constantly clean it, and around the curves, the track it self bends upward, and is uneven. I just wanted to know, why does it act like cheap track, and is NS E-Z track any better?
I have the same track but I don't always have to clean it. Before cleaning it adjust the position of the track & try it. That's what I have to do sometimes.
