I see what you mean but that would probably be hard to do. Pinstripe tape might be easier if I wanted to go that route.

I used the last piece of a breakoff knife blade.
And then not the knife edge but the brakeoff surface.
Works fine.

Large / Re: G scale bobber caboose info needed

I took this caboose and completely rebuild it into a more realistic bobber.
I made windows in the front and back of the cupola, cut the handrails of and made real ones, walk boards on top, ladders and repainted the whole lot.

Terry, What you could do is to scrape of the paint of the horizontal pieces sticking out of the body.
I don't know the right name in English.
It will break up the big green surface and horizontally accentuate the sides.

any rail does not support ez track as much as I would like.

Send them a mail.
I did and asked if they could change the sleeper size for each brand , and they did.

Aren't you targeting the wrong demographic group?
Shouldn't you be targeting the Iphone infected group of youngsters?

General Discussion / Re: compatibility of HO EZ track
February 27, 2017, 05:05:43 AM
Hi Fred there, why not , as long as it is code 100 track I see no problem.
You will have to compensate for the hight of the bedding and remove that click thingy from the EZ track.

On30 / Re: Sound module question

I don't see a reason why not.
If the pin-outs are the same it should be possible.
The only difference are the soundfiles in the chip.

Your right, you will always need the gaps to isolate the three sections you need.
A reed contact could be used over the gaps to make a redundant system when the gap is missed.

The question is , is it a bulp or a LED?
If it is a LED just replace it with a white emitting LED .

I sent you a reply.
What you could use as a censor is a reed contact instead of the gap.
The only disadvantage is that you will have to equip your machinery with magnets.
