I would rather vote for a 2-8-8-0 , 2-8-8-2 or a Big boy a 4-8-8-4.

The only chassis I could think of are the CC RDC , KATO RDC ,Modemo , Tomytec and Greenmax or one of those other odd  chassis... all modified of course . one might want to try this > http://www.ebay.com/itm/Microace-E0003-Powered-Motorized-Chassis-21m-DT22-N-scale-/361671435323?hash=item54354c243b:g:1CQAAOxy-sRSZgbu . Dear Rich,
It's not on the schedule at the moment, but it's a good idea.
I'll bring it up at the next catalogue meeting.
Thanks!

  All and Others,

I believe ATLAS holds the patent for The ACCUMATE Couplers , ATHEARN for the McHENRY Couplers and BACJHMANN for the E-Z MATE Couplers I found this not sure if it will be of some assistance to you .

And what about the F9A's from the 1980'S will these fit the Spectrum and Bachmann Plus Series loco chassis. I have not attempted this as of yet due to packing for a move .

What was the driver diameter on these 0-10-2s?. If it is 57in then Bachmann could use  there USRA Light 2-10-2s.

Maybe Bachmann should sell steam with out tenders/shells for kitbashers.
I agree, and those PRE SPECTRUM  Steam Loco tenders .
