I thought W/WBB only made the GP38.  ARR has the GP40, but the closest model in the WBB line is the 38!

DCC?  Don't have a clue!

The WM did not have Trainmasters.  But I think the WM is a railroad which has more fans than what most people think!

My WBB GG-1 jumps up at the electromagnet.  My PW 726 does the same.

Seems the new electromagnets are higher in relation to the track profile.  Older ones might just work!

The CW-80's and some engines just don't mix....

W/WBB diesels have lower power requirements than others, so you don't have to put as much voltage on the track to get them to move.  Hence lights are dimmer.

I have not had a W/WBB steamer, so I don't know if the above translates to the other type of power.

I think K-Line did make O-27 track at one time in 72" curves.

Has WBB considered replacement tenders so all non tank steamers can have a tender behind!

I have gottton some of the same cars for Texas Special.  If you can get a Lionel Repair book, the cars are very close to the Lionel 2500 AL cars of the 1950's!

DCC is square wave AC, and the decodes rectify ir to DC for the motors.  I think one would have to remove the E and sound units, and place the DCC boards onboard.  Also, I I have heard the motors have to have ground isolation.  there is a DCC group on the ORG forum.
