that's no ordinary diesel, that's an sd80mac. it will do the work of at least 2 of steam's finest, all by itself. MU 2 of them together and you probably have enough tractive effort to pull that turntable right out of the pit.
As Robotnik would say, "Who Cares" The only good ddiesel is an F Unit.

Bad for us guys who live in the US. If hornby makes them, then we can't get them. They're only available in the UK. Unless you're a big enough moron to shop from Ebay. (DUH, DUH, DUHHHHHH)

But this is just my opinion, but that voice DOES NOT fit Thomas. And in the UK version, Toby sounds like a Hillbilly. (Sorry all Toby fans)

By the way, Happy Fourth of July!!!!!!!!!

yea, but they already have a 9F, Evening Star. Or maybe they could develop a twelve wheeler. But if I had to go with a 2-10-0, it would be an WD 2-10-0 ;D

Well, I think that some of you may Know about British Rail's New Engine 60163 "Tornado" A1 Pacific. It's been about 50-60 years scince the last Mailine Brit engine was built. So do you think more new steamers are on the way. Cause if there is, it had BETTER be an 8F or a 7F

Tornado- http://www.traffordmodelcentre.co.uk/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?page=A1_60163_Tornado.htm&cart_id=1227819500.203

An 8F-http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3608/3555761027_a47726fe4f.jpg

Note: this thread is now the help thread. If you have a problem with one of your ttte models, post that problem here :)

Yes, its a shame that people only get trains only so they can look at them. Adults *Rolls Eyes* Why waste your money on the trains if your not even going to run them ???

Note: My rolls eyes smiley doesn't work

Thomas & Friends / Diesel
July 02, 2009, 04:14:11 PM
I was just looking on Modelfair.com for some Class 40 diesels and i found this: http://www.newmodellersshop.co.uk/images/Trains/diesel/r2777-ews-class-08.jpg. This was made by Hornby. So just a question, why did they use the old Triang 08 mold for Diesel?

I had a good idea about a building. why not make the Great Watterton tower and make the bottom hollow so you can close it up and you can crash trucks through it ;D
