General Discussion / Re: Worst derailment ever
July 17, 2009, 11:11:24 AM
My worst train wreck occurred on Christmas. I was playing with the Hogwarts Express. My dad had switched the couplings on it to knuckle couplers instead of NEM couplers. The Train ran over a switch, and the three coaches uncoupled. The engine came around again and actually managed to knock the shell off of the back coach  :o. So many plastic Christmas's ruined.

are On30 locos able to run on HO scale track, or are they so heavy, the tracks can't support them?

There's a guy who makes the narrow guage engines. He even made the Arsdale Engines (well, one any way.) He takes the chassie off a Take-a-Long, and puts an N scale motor in it.

General Discussion / Re: How not to use a turntable

Something like this also happened on the SP lines. A GS-4's tender fell into a turntable well. It's true. I read it in Classic Trains

That is one sweet looking engine though. I like the gray livery...very sharp!

Thanks for sharing...all the way from da' Bronx no less,
