I have a set of Williams  O-27 streamlined Southern Cresent cars that also have the same markings inside.These were pre Bachmann.

I called Williams about this,probably in 2002,and was told that this station sound application was never made.I stopped looking for it.

Lionel did not make an observation forthe "Madison" cars.

The cars discussed above are Williams and do not need to be the same  as Lionel.
I think Williams did make an observation for this series.

You might get more help if you stated what loco,type and brand,you are having problems with.

I don't think Lionel ever made a four wheel leading truck that would fit the 675.

To use a four wheel truck on it would take some modifications.

I vaguely remember an article in Classic Toy Trains magazine on doing this modification.

Yes the old original Williams warrenty was lifetime.But That company is gone.

The loco will run on O-27 style track.I do not know if it will run on O-27 curves.

Is the "sound" being dicussed the whistle/horn and bell sounds?

This forum has a large member base and is owned by O Gauge Railroading magazine.

Both of the above are for all types of O gauge trains.

That scheme was used by Conrail.Check the above photo.It was not PRR.I think Conrail and PC used several different schemes on the GG1.

The GG1s were also used by Penn Central.


IMHO the idea of locos available without road names is interesting especially for Diesels of all types.They could be offered painted in the many colors available or without any specific color.This might lead to a  good market for decals.

The original Lionel 773 would run on 0-31.
