Mattel might have a tighter leash on what Bachmann can make. This can explain recolors and face changing engines.

Whether or not the new cars are based on CGI or the classic series.

Bachmann could remake the old tar and oil tank cars. A nice repaint would a plain silver with no markings. Since the old cars are rare to find.

If the original break down train was to expensive to make with the including the matching green unit car. Why would Mattel or Bachmann decided to make a more expensive item like Rocky?  I like Rocky but I don't love him. I love the original break down train. Besides wouldn't you need two Rocky's to pick up locomotives like Gordon and Henry?

I didn't mind the Sodor name company cars. It made the island bigger or interesting freight cars off the island.  (Journey Beyond Sodor special)

I saw a Peco brown box van and slate wagons at Hattons. Should it matter if the slate wagons don't have the wooden bumpers? Or was this added for the Thomas line?

Yes this is first time ordering something from overseas international country.

Those sets would be easier for little kids to handle. And probably easier for the parents who don't like to spend extra money on electric trains. Since we all know how long these trains will last before they get broken within a 3-9 year old.

Does anyone know the price range for the Narrow Gauge coaches yet?

I would like to get 6 of them (for pre-order) but I'm worried that I wouldn't save enough. I estimated about $70 to 80 dollars since the NG box vans were that price.

How about some old coaches from season 1. These cars were pulled by Edward, and Henry. Since they're painted as the express coaches. Reusing the paint should be easy of green and cream. That can be an easy repaint of the red branch line coaches.

I been thinking about passenger cars lately. Since I got Henry and Edward I was looking for coaches. Noticing that Bachmann should make the old coaches. I liked the old coaches, I think they were the original express cars before they were serviced into local traffic.

It will be nice to go with the red branch line cars. Somebody said on the forum it's basically the same car as Annie and Clarabel. So it should be an easy repaint.

Anyone else likes this idea?

I can't seem to find the troublesome truck 5. I believe its the white salt wagon.

I want to get grumpy diesel. But I also thought about getting diesel with his happy face. I don't know which one to get. One will cost more than than the other being the only difference is the expression.

I'm I the person who is having trouble deciding what/which diesels to buy. When you don't have that character at all.

Was Stepney short? Because in Season 5 "Stepney Gets Lost" he looked shorter than Mavis. I don't remember being that short.

While I rewatched his old episodes he was short. A little next to Thomas, and half the size of Duck.

If he does come back to the series he would be the same size of Oliver. But Oliver needs fixing.

Is the yellow color correct but I also believe it's the lighting making the color dull.
