General Discussion / Re: Bachmann Wishlist

Here's one for Bachmann Branclines. A 14xx 0-4-2T. I'm only saying this because I think Hornby stopped making theirs.

And if they make that, heres a new Junior set:

The Titfield Thunderbolt Set:

Includes 14xx 0-4-2T 1401, GWR Cattel Car, The Passenger car from the movie, GWR 20 ton TOAD Breakvan, oval of track, conventional DC power pack, and Titfield Station.

(I never said that your wishes had to be JUST American Stuff  :) )

Those are all fairly large cities across the pond (in Britain).

I know tthat, but the ???s were for it being an ameican train with UK destinations.

I bought a old 0-6-0 tank engine off eBay back in February, they do NOT like switches. All switches are to these poor foreigners on E-Z track is a speed bump. It's actually kind of sad to see this happen to it because u cant fix/modify anything.

I'm not so sure. My Pannier negotiates my E-Z switchs fine, and thier about 4 years old.

We all know that at Christmas time we see those cheap G Gauge Trains underneath peoples Christmas trees on over expensive ornaments on said trees. Anyone got anything to say about either?

A cheap train under the tree probably won't encourage anybody to continue in the hobby, but they can have some value as a seasonal decoration.  I kind of like the Hallmark ornaments that are miniaturized versions of old Lionel trains.  They're a little heavy, but they invoke some fond memories.  I could say something about the value of someone else's comment to your post, but I don't want to start a flame war in this thread.

Well, not cheap in that sense. I mean like the quality of the locos. Like, the only ones you can basicly find are 0-6-0s and 2-6-0s.

The Hallmarks are pretty good. I have all of them except for 1997's SP 4449 and 1998's Santa Fe F A Unit and the Red MicAurthur/Mikado for this year.

You can post anything you want to see Bachmann make in the coming years.

Personally, I want to see a N&W/Virginian R.R. "Y" 2-8-8-2

I thought the movie was well written, I think the somewhat New Yorker Acecent fits Henry, However, It does make him sound like Mort Goldmann on Family Guy. I also Noticed that Hiro plays the same whistle blasts every time.

Dear Mr. the Bach-man
I wanted to ask your opinion on something.  Let's say that Donald and Douglas were produced.  If you produced Duck the year after, would you still use the same chassis on him you used on Donald and Douglas since their the same? :)
If you look at a screenshot of all there chassis, there are pretty much similar.

Hornby has a better chance of making Stanley. They already have an engine that looks like him in their steam range.
