As the models would be based off of the current series, and I would tend to think some sets would be like this:

-Skarloey Set: Skarloey with two red coaches and a guard's van; oval of track
-Petersam Set: Petersam with two slate trucks and a goods van; circle of track
-Day at the Wharf Set: Thomas, two coal trucks, brake van, Rheneas (or basically any other engine. I'd imagine possibly Skarloey more than any other engine, though), flat bed, open wagon, and a goods van; HO/OO9 crossover with a figure-8 (one track would have to be elevated so that the lines could intersect again, unless two crossovers were included), and Colin the Crane

Good ideas! ;D

What if Bachmann introduced the Skarloey Railway characters and rolling stock to the range?
Would they be HO/OO (unlikely) just like ERTL, Wooden Railway and Take-n-Play/Take Along models do which somehow makes them the same size as the normal guage engines? Or would they be N/OO9 Scale? I think going for N scale would be great.

Please comment your ideas for train sets if they sound like good ideas. (they don't have to be real... just pretend) and what year they would do them in order.

No negative replies or comments doubting this would happen. Like I said, it can be pretend.

A cool idea for an accessory would be a track that goes through HO/OO and N/OO9 scale tracks as seen in episodes with the wharf location! ;D

Set ideas...

2012
Skarloey with 2 red coaches and red guard's van (or instead of the coaches and guard's van, make them Agnes, Ruth, Lucy, Jemima, and Beatrice from the Railway Series) and an oval of track.

2013
Rusty with breakdown train or rail fixing supply trucks and brown guard's van with a circle of track.

Have a couple Big Haulers and the 4-6-0 annie.
A G scale Emily is on my wish list.
She'd probably get reworked  bit to look like something out of 1850s in USA.

And whoever did the calculus to get the drive on the HO one to do both the 8ft driver and the trailing axle is a better man than I!

G Scale Emily is already coming soon as her coaches are already out for soom reason...

Molly or Neville ever appear in the CGI series then I'd be willing to buy them.

They did appear in Season 12 which was back when they used CGI faces for the models (although it was only Neville who got a semi CGI role)

Do real small guage models of the Talyllyn railway engines exist? Or are they community created?

I wish they would approve RWS characters... then we can have Bear, Diesel 199/Spamcan, Jinty and Pug and whoever else we like... :(

I would not ever care if the the whole world loves them,Bachmann is not ever going to make the narrow gauge engines!!! >:(

Why so opinion changing? I'm saying that you never know that they could make a start on them. I assume you hate them? :P

I think Diesel's face on Tomy/Trackmaster doesn't look too scary or devious so they left that unchanged.

I think Bachmann was going to give Diesel an angry face rather than a Devious face but I think it's quite ok as it is.

What is with the narrow gauge engines being made by bachmann? It's really getting old! >:(
Duh, because we like them? :P

Either make them HO (unlikely since that makes them the same size as the other engines but then again, ERTL, Take along and Trackmaster did that, too) or more better: 009/N Scale.

If they were to introduce them, this is how I think it could turn out

2012
Skarloey
Rheneas
Sir Handel
Peter Sam
Slate trucks
Different coloured Guards Vans
Green/Pale, Red and Blue Coaches with and without faces

Train sets: Skarloey with 2-3 red coaches and guard's van (Replacing Sir Handel)
Rheneas with 2 blue coaches and guard's van (Gallant Old/Little Engine)

2013
Rusty
Duncan
(Possible) Mighty Mac,  Freddie or Duke
Track repairing goods, coal trucks, breakdown train and maybe gunpowder wagons

Train sets: Rusty with track repairing goods and guard's van (Rock "N' Roll, I think)
Duncan with 4 slate trucks (Dunkin' Duncan)

2014 (unfinished)
Proteus or Smudger (unlikely)

CGI face and SILVER side rods? ???

Ever thought of a little dash of Nostalgia or a combination of both Old and New?

I thought it was creative of them to give him his CGI face and silver siderods. At anytime if you're a painter, you could just paint them black or if you're a face modeler, replace the face with something classic related. :P
