3 Truck Shay Stuck ???

Just a little confused, notcied my shay rear truck is starting to climb curves when in reverse...

On closer examination, the rear truck is stuck to the rear body.... is this normal...

It feels like its locked in, but couldnt recall if this is suppose to..

Can someone please check for me...

The rear, third truck, does not pivot under the tender.

Video that came with the 3-truck shows the tender truck pivoting.  This video was made with a pre-production version of the engine.  Don't rely on the video in this instance.

Look for some other cause.  Check wheels to insure they are tight on the axles.

I "dummied" the third truck on mine. It essentially became a free rolling tender.
Made no difference in pulling power and uses less electrons now.
