Dear Glenn,
Actually, the batteries go under the bunk behind the conductor's desk.
Great minds...
Have fun!

A part of my point was to use AA penlite cells--they last much longer than the 9-volt batteries used in the passenger cars--and with LED "bulbs" one should get a lot of mileage from a pair of them.   I was an inspector and used the "Mini Mag Lite" in my work--those things really "eat" AA's, but at the level that the flashlight was too dim, they still powered micro bulbs and LED's quite a long time.   gj

A couple of questions prompted by the newsletter:
#88795,  Caboose #0505--is that the older paint scheme?
#88797, Caboose #0503--will that one have the blanked windows?  If so, it would be nice to have the window boards separate so the buyer can choose whith time period it represents. Sloan says late forties for the boarded windown on the one car.  Another thought would be to offer the Rio Grande cabs without numbers, (both lettering styles) and a sheet of decals with the five car numbers.  (0503, 0505, 0517, 0540, and 0574)

Hi, Glenn!
0505 has the Royal Gorge herald. You'll have to blank out the window yourself, however.
Have fun!
