I just purchase E-Z Model Railroads and noticed that the Plasticville O Scale Trestle Bridge was used on the On30 layout.  Could you please tell me the length of this bridge "out of the box", as I am thinking of using it on my On30 layout.

Thank you,

Gary

Dear Gary,
It's about ten inches long.
Have fun!

Will all the On30 locomotives clear this?

Dear Gary,
It's actually a bit longer- more like fourteen + inches. I'll try to get an exact measurement.
It works well with On30 as well.
Have fun!

I have two of these and im still thinking of where to put them! They are quite massive really. As they should be for O gauge trains. Im thinking about how I could cut them down as I think they look too tall for On30.

Any ideas?

Dear Gary,
Here are the measurements:
Length: 17 1/3"
Height: 6"
Width: 3 3/4"
Thanks!

On this bridge I have been looking at it and I agree with the height being a little to tall. What I planned on doing was to go in and cut between down girders and the bottom beam taking out some of the height. then regluing it to the main bottom beam and shorting the length of that beam. then repainting the bridge.
Just my thoughts, what do some of you think.
