A new danger to us model railroaders. Dogs and Decoders. Let Me explain. My dogs like to get up on my worktable and knock stuff over so i rarely leave a loco or car sitting on it while im out at work. Well i Failed to remove a decorder which they knocked on the floor. And lets just say i ended up becomming "Decoder Equipped" 7 of the 8 pins went right into my foot. Somehow not a drop of blood but it sure hurts like...you know.(it was a Bachmann decoder that i recently took out of a 2-8-0 to make it run with my other one which was not DCC on board)

You are lucky.  One of my boxers would have eaten the sucker!  Of course, if it were a sound decoder and I could get power to it, I could have a boxer with a steam whistle and chuff!   ;D

Ewe, pricked,  ouch. Reminds me of my friends CSX engine. It was very heavy for having too many weights, it fell- on my bare foot. Then another time, I was working with some Atlas 9"s and I finish pushing a hard to get on old connector, on- again fell on my foot, connector first. But compared to your encounter, nothing but a tap.
