E-Z Command DCC System and turnouts

I am very new to this train stuff ....I have an EZ track setup and bought this controller to go with it. I wanted to hookup my turnouts to it but..as I said I am ver new to this!
There is a green wire connected to the turn out and it has a connector at the end with a plug at the end. I guess I thought it would plug into the controller but obviously I was wrong. Can anyone please help me out with this?!

DId it also come with a control box? If so you have the analog version.

When I bought my first turnout, I bought the wrong type.  Was able to return it via Amazon.  I ended up with DCC-compatible turnouts, no wiring.  Receives commands via the serial messages embedded within the track power.  It does take some practice to switch the controller between train control and turnout control in a fairly quick manner.
