I recently purchased the 1:20.3 Narrow Gauge 55 Ton Three-Truck Shay to display only (all I want to do is show it off) and am confused as to what gauge / scale straight track to set it on.  Thank you in advance for your detailed advice.

Hi, Klondike Trainmaster

Any G scale (AKA Large scale) track will do.  There are many brands.  Call Robbie at 618-446-2970 rldhobbies.com, He will be able to guide you on what to get, and at a great price.  Theere is also Reindeer Pass hobbies, and Trainworld.com

When you call RLD you get Robbie himself.

Enjoy your beautiful Shay!!!

Good afternoon Loco Bill,

Thank you very much for your reply!  I discovered that Reindeer Pass hobbies is 30 minutes from my bunkhouse.  I've called them since I received your message and I'm going to visit them tomorrow afternoon.  You mentioning them gives me great confidence.

My Shay exceeded my expectations.  Thank you once again.  Todd
