changing sound boards

I have an O scale GP30, and a BL2.  Is it possible without too much trouble, to switch the sound boards to get a more realistic horn sound for both engines?

Check the different decoder companies online. They usually have sound samples. I know SoundTraxx does.
we might need more details, photo. Both Bachmann locos or another manufacturer?
