My fingers never quit, it seems. Been back at the bench. Pulled this Model Tech Studios ( http://modeltechstudios.com/ ) kit off the shelf before it got any more beat up than it was. This company's decision to package this sized kit in a plastic bag was a poor one, to say the least. At the prices they charge, a box wouldn't have killed them.

Anyhow.............that being said, this didn't build up into a bad kit at all. MTS's idea of corner posts was terrible, so I had to upgrade those, but all in all it's a nice kit. Typical craftsman kit though.....be prepared to have to add and scratch build things as you go. Here is the base kit and a teaser shot. Please follow the link to my Fotki page to view the entire build sequence. All photos are titled and captioned.

Enjoy and thanks for looking!

Great job as usual. Is there a reason you raised the attachment on the left of the building? In the picture on the paper, it shows it lower. Will you be putting something else under there?

Terry.........

The stairwell seemed to sit below the first floor level........sort of sunk into the foundation. By raising it, it looks like it aligns with the main floor better. And with no outside access door, there is no reason for it to sit at ground level.

Like I said......this kit built up ok, but it's overall design left a bit to be desired.

Sid - I agree. It's make more sense the way you did it. The way it is in the pic, it looked like it could have led to a basement.
