Hello - I recently purchased a PCC Trolley from Bachmann.  The factory DCC card was not enabled for compressor or traction motor.  After programing the DCC, I was able to turn "on" the compressor, but not the traction motor.  I also seem to have disabled the sparking pole.

Can anyone shed some light on how the CVs should be configured?

Many thanks,
Dan

Thanks for the quick response.  Yes, I have the PDF document, but it does not list the CV mappings (i.e., CV 198:  Value one is for bell, Value 2 is bell + whistle, etc.

Thanks,

Dan

Maybe I can shed more clarity:

-The function buttons come pre-configured per the PDF.
-I had to configure the PCC to activate the "background noise" air compressor (this was done via trial and error).
-I can't find the CV and CV value for "traction motor" and "sparking trolley pole".

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Default control of the trolley pole spark light is F4, along with the sound of the pantograph rising.
Sparking trolley pole effect is set in CV 52.
Automatic operation of the air compressor sound is set in CV112 - a value of 3 should make it operate in auto mode.
There are no traction motor sounds.

Many thanks.  What value should I enter for CV 52?

Also, thanks for the clarification on the traction motors.  The marketing materials for the trolley do mention traction motor sounds.

Yardmaster,
Again. . .
Clarify

I see per the Function Assignments list
F7 is omitted
Since CV41 shown with a default value 64 would expect F7 to be listed as "not used" if in fact, 64 effect or firmware not load.

F8 Mute
Since F8 is Mute expect CV42 default value to be 32 not 128

Dan,
I do not have convenient access to a HO  PCC Trolley Sound Value equipped so cannot do testing.

If you have time to test,  when running  - what is effect on sound, if any,  when CV 112 set as follows,
CV 112 = 3
CV 112 = 2
CV 112 = 1

Yardmaster,

Focus on something else after you delete all my posts in this thread.  The reasons for my inquires no longer exist.

I continue to have issues with CV 52.  What is value for CV 52 that enables sound sychronized with the sparking?

After much trial and error, here are the settings:

CV112 = 1:  Activates the air compressor as background noise

F4:  toggles between spark and no spark on the pantograph
