Combining Steel track and Brass track

Is it possible to connect a few brass tracks to a set up of steel tracks?  My steel track do not make some of the curves I have but the longer brass curves will.  However, the two types of track are not compatible.  Is there a connector or interface piece that will connect the two types or must one replace all of the steel tracks with brass ones?  A very expensive proposition.
The reason for this problem is that the steel track is not available in longer lengths.

What scale are you talking about? Mixing HO plain steel and brass track is not a good idea, as you can get dissimilar metal oxidation at the joints. This is less of a problem with G stainless steel track and brass track. If G, what brands?

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

I believe the proper term is "Galvanic corrosion" and it's not a good thing.
