Bachmann is there any talk of releasing the N&W 4-8-4  J with DCC and sound?

I don't think there's anything in development, although they could easily change the 2-8-4 Berkshire Soundtraxx board to fit into the tender.

I put the soundtraxx econo ECO-100 steam decoder in. It was rather easy to do.  I used a soundtraxx boxed oval speaker but i may still change that to a round one and see if the sound clears up a tad.  They have a correct whistle in it's file.  My favorite sound in there besides the whistle is the cylinder cocks. They really come off as a spot on match when she first gets underway.

I will give a thumbs up on the ECO-100 as well. I used a 13mm speaker I had laying around but may upgrade to a 15mm, that is the mount size inside the tender.

Adding a sound decoder to this engine is very easy to do.
