Configuring large scale DCC

I am working on a new Large Scale DCC equipped locomotive. I need to disable the ability to run on DC. How do I do that?

Program CV 29, Bit 2 to 0

If your DCC system is not capable of programming at Bit level then read CV 29 and reduce its value by 4.
Example: CV 29  = 6 then program CV 29 = 2 to disable the ability to run on DC
