n gauge power connection lead

hello all

I purchased an ex train set speed controller, power point and connecting lead at the Warwickshire n gauge exhibition last weekend and for the life of me I cannot work out how the spade terminals connect to the track. any assistance appreciated. thanks

many thanks for your reply and diagram.  the controller I have does not contain the terminals or the green wires indicated in the diagram. I assume that I have been sold an obsolete item or there is a different connection set up for European track.

I think I shall start again and buy a new controller.

Just solder the connections to the outside of each rail.
