caboose lighting

I just received two brand new bachmann lighted cabooses. They are identical but one of the m shorts out my track. I can't see any obvious difference between the two. Any idea what is causing the problem.

Hello: Sounds like you might have one of the trucks on the shorted caboose turned 180 around. Check the pick-ups to the "good" caboose. Good luck, Jim
