K-27 Counterweights

I have been working on a K-27 (Installing radio control). It appears that this engine has the dreaded counterweight problem. I can not find them as replacement parts. Are they no longer available? Are they the same as the ones on the 2-8-0?

Bachmann  reps told me the link is no longer available because the server was compromised, unfortunately efforts to recover the instructions were not successful.  There were some useful hints in a post in the last few weeks. If any of the members downloaded the photos showing how to fix the counterweights please post them for the forum.
