Is DCC installed?

I haven't run my trains for about 5 years and forgot which ones I converted to DCC.
Is there an easy way to tell without taking them apart?

Use service mode – program track and read CV 8 if your DCC system is capable of reading CVs.

CV 8 contains the Manufacturer ID of the decoder

very easy if the locomotive works on a DC powered track

Put the loco on a DCC powered track.

If the motor hums then no decoder is installed.

No sound  there is a decoder installed
