I am looking at bid on a trains set. It a 4-6-0 engine with tender, combine and observation car. Engine is numbered 9670 and as metal detail parts. Conbine has 'Pullman' over the windows, 'Cassius' under the windows. On the baggage end is 'The Pennsylvania Limited' and "New York- Chicago'. Observation car has 'Pullman' over the widows, 'Veritas' under the windows'. It looks that a Bachmann set.
Is it Bacmann?
Thanks, alan-rr

Yes, that's a 90024 Bachmann Liberty Bell Limited set first listed in the 1995 catalog. Also available was the 97290 Gladious coach and the 97490 baggage. My set has number 58616 on it and I have two other different set with that same number. I beleve these were made for a catalog or big box store but have never found any information on them. In 2004 Bachmann listed the 90082 Pennsylvanian set which had a green engine and red cars. For display I switched engines as the green is a close match.
