I have a 44212 controller, but the wire to connect to the track is missing.  I have an extra wire that would connect to screw terminals on a controller, but the controller takes a miniplug.  If I find a miniplug that will fit, to which of the miniplug tips and rings do I solder the two wires?

Dear dblanshan,

3.5mm (1/8") stereo (TRS) plug:

Tip = AC out (to power E-Z Command, not protected by a thermistor*)

Ring = Track Variable DC out

Shank = Common (AC return and Variable DC return)

*The two push-insert-wire terminals for AC accessories are protected by a thermistor.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik
