I bougth a loco and tender lettered North Pole & Southern. I think it a Bachmann 4-6-0 with metal siderods and metal detail parts. The tender have metal wheels and 2 plugs to the loco. It is missing the headlight, bell and tender hatch. Is it a Bachmann?
Thanks, alanrr

Alan,

Yes I am sure it is a Bachmann Anniversary 4-6-0.  You didn't say what the road number was on the side of the cab.  If it is 12 it is from set 90054 Holiday Special sold only at Sams club in 2006. If the road number is 1225 and has Walsearts valve gear it is from set 90047 Wonderland Flyer sold at Sam's Club in 2004.  or from a similar Set with Stephenson valve gear sold first exclusively at Boscovs Department stores and later as a Bachmann catalog set.  If it is a woodburner with the number 205 it is from set 90051 North Star Express sold at Sam's in 2005.

Enjoy, Bill

Hello Bill, it has 12 on the loco and tender, so it a Bachmann. I will order the parts.
Thanks,  alanrr

If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.
