re 2-8-0 cab rear wall

Hello again
in my haste I didnt mention that I am wanting to remove the loco cab completely from the engine unit. If anyone can advise me how to do it,it I would be thankful.

I wrote a small article on replacing the cab on the O/F 2-8-0 for the 2007 On30 Annual http://www.on30annual.com/ ...but I forgot how I did it  ???  I know the cab is attached with a screw up though the boiler...

let me find the mag and refresh my memory and I'll let you know what I did ;)

here is what I wrote:

[the cab] is held on by just one screw up from the boiler, the trick was getting to the screw. The boiler is attached by two screws under the ash pan cover and one screw between the cylinders, it’s also held in place by a bunch of piping. I began by pulling the pilot deck braces loose from the smoke box, removing the 3 screws then slowly and carefully lifting the boiler and pulling the pipes loose one at a time; the exploded view that comes with the loco was very helpful here.
