Headlight not working on 4-6-0

New 4-6-0 locomotive with sound. Everything works well except the headlight. Any suggestions please. Thanks.

I'm an HO guy by practice.  However, I have received Bachmann Sound locos without the headlight 'working'. I have found that the headlight can be turned on, once on a DCC system, using function 2.  

The locomotive tester at the factory (if there is such a person) may be checking the headlight and turning it off, before boxing up the locomotives.  That's a guess, but this problem has happened to me 50% of the time.  So, you could try turning on the light while on a DCC track.  Just a thought.

I'll crawl back into my HO world now.

It was turned off Jonathan. Thanks for the tip. Will keep in mind for next time.
