A family member recently passed away and I now have a switcher engine which appears to be a Mdl #80014. I have no knowledge of N gauge trains and can not even find that model on the internet. What would such an engine be worth and is there anyone who would need such an engine.

Thank you for your help. If I had the room I would consider trying out O gauge railroading but it just isn't possible due to space restraints.

I did a search for, GE 44 Ton Switcher Denver RGW 39, and came up with the below. It will be worth what someone is willing to pay you.

If yours is an N scale model, here's a comparable NEW model:

As Rich said, the worth of your model will be market-driven and probably be much less.

Rich, I appreciate the information because as I said I am a novice to this. We have a local train store so I may just ask them if they are interested in this engine. I still have 2 Life Like Santa Fe diesels, 2 Bachmann Chessie diesels and a silver diesl Bachmann with no rail comopany markings plus miscellaneous cars, track and transformers plus building.

Again, I thank you.
