Can either of you give us info on the metal replacement gears for the Connie allegedly being produced by Bachmann industries as noted in Kevin's post at this address:

Hey, Bill,
We'll be in Cinncy tomorrow, and I'll see what I can find out.

Hi, Guys!
The gears are being processed into the system. We'll let you know when they become available.
Have fun!

Thanks, Bach-man;  This sounds like a really great move by Bachmann Industries. It will no doubt be very welcome to all the faithful.  Any possibility of an axle gear for the Spectrum  4-4-0 or 2-6-0?

I agree, it's a great idea - looking forward to them becoming available.  Well done Bachmann (but one could also say "at last"   ;D  )

So, Bacchy, Mr Yardmaster, does that mean that there will be a new production of Connies with brass gears?  If so acquisition of one just went to the top of my wish list; it's always been a great model with the gear problem as its only down side.
