steel track vs nickle silver track

just getting back in to ho fun  question is do i want to start with the steel track or the nickle silver  .  thanks for your kelp

If some one is giving you a lot of the steel track then use it to start.
Then replace it as soon as you have the money to do so.
Buy Nickle Silver track if you're starting out and do not have any track.

Nickle silver is still the best way to go as it will not rust or pit.
