Ray Dunakin

I read somewhere that Gummo Marx was a model railroader. He was one of the Marx Brothers but was never in any of their movies.

Visit www.raydunakin.com for photos, step-by-step articles and other information about the rugged and rocky In-ko-pah Railroad!

Who could forget...
The Master Demolition Man;

Gomez Addams (John Astin) of The Addams Family!!

     If you've never seen an episode where he heads two trains straight at each other, (Very large, G or larger) destin to crash head on at the bridge ahead.......But they never hit each other...

     Any recall?

Thanks for the memory, I recall the explosive action quite well.  That was a Lionel O gauge set as I recall.  I'd like to see that on Big Bang Theory!

Wow,

     There is an "exploding bridge" in HO that I've seen in recent past. I will seek it out again, and post it here later!!

Too Much Fun,

There was no such thing as G gauge trains when the Addams Family TV show was playing. If I recall correctly, the trains were by Lionel.

I remember the sequence she did of the husband getting into model trains. I have a tee-shirt with a panel of the family with the trains. The caption is something like, "Model railroading isn't a hobby, it's a way of life."  :)

JBJ,

I believe this link will take you directly to the strip you mention:

Terry,

It looks like Southwest Chief has fixed his link, so I have removed my previous post.

Thanks, Jim--though that's not the image on my tee-shirt.  :)
