Hi Sean,

There were two Bachmann Sets with the number 90102,  Your set is  exactly the same as the original Set 90102 but has the Franks Nursery & Crafts Tan Gondola instead of the Victor Gold Mining gondola in the original set.

90102F   HE    Holiday Express RC 49 mhz   1990   Ltd Run   Freight   9   Ver1   Gon Franks Nursery & Crafts No Number   ATSF #425 Bobber Caboose

Special set for Franks Nursery & Crafts 189 Stores in mid west & east.   Franks is went out of Business in late 2004

All the sets have the Radio Control loco the Franks set was on the frequency    49 MHZ  Some say it was also available in 27 mhz, but I have never seen one.

The Tan Franks Gondola is pretty rare, sold only in the set and was never available as a separate  item from Bachmann.

Please let me know if your locomotive is numbered 7 or 9.

Sean,
Well, for starters hopefully your set came with the Radio Control Transmitter.  look for the battery compartment and put in some new batteries.  I forget what batteries it takes, but you can figure that out.  The locomotive also needs batteries,  the back of the boiler comes off and you put the batteries in the boiler.  Turn on the switch.   The controller has two levers one is for forward and reverse the other is for speed.   set up the track put the loco on and see what happens.

Best of luck,

Bill
