Does anyone know if there is a "list" of some sort for the Classic Freight Series/Crown Edition? Specifically, a list of the units numbered WAL #1 through WAL #100.

Dear Mark,

I will try to make a list.  The WAL was added for Walthers.  The numbers were actually FC01-?? I don't recall the last number that we made, but I will research it.

WoW! and Holy Toledo!! That is one heck ova list!

And , thank you!!  I am well on my way to 'finding' all of these - and have just 24 left to go.

FWIW - I did run across an 85 (A) and an 85B for the Amtrack's. And, I did wonder why the A /B designator rather than just an incremental number for each. It is an interesting peculiarity!

This is a really great set of rolling stock ... and I humbly thank you for the incredible efforts with this list! WoW!

Mark,

You are welcome.  I will try to complete the list if possible. Mr. Williams did not keep very much historical information.  85A and 85B are different car numbers that is the only difference.

I found another one.  FC 84 is Heinz pickles Billboard reefer.  I added it to the list above.

I am also seeing units in this series as 32xx  (3276, 3251).  Is there any difference between FC 76, WAL 76, and 3276??  It seems to be a labeling thing???

Mark,

I am not familiar with the 32XX numbering scheme. Can you post a photo or link to one of the boxes?

3rd Rail -

Here are some that are currently showing on ebay.

I emailed one of the sellers, and they said the end flap on the box says it is "Classic Freight Series" with a model number of 32xx.

I know I have a couple of these in this collection already...so I suppose it is ok. I was just wondering how there came to be - and if there is any difference - three different numbering schemes.

FWIW - I am at 78 of 100....and am watching several that I 'need' on Ebay. Once I hit the full 100 - well, it's gonna be new stuff from there on! LOL!
