Harold - I wish you luck in removing the detail off that Mantua pacific boiler - the stuff is really hard.

I had several of those engines in my HO days and look forward to seeing your clever conversions to 55n3. Lots of luck; buy some new files, you'll need them.

That is why man invented the motor tool and tungsten carbide.

Harold-

Be careful with that Dremel tool, too.  It can take off too much material or scar your work very easily.  Such marks can be filled using spot putty (I'd use the real stuff on zamac) but it's easier not to have a gouge in the first place.
