To the engineers at BACHMANN....
with all the beautiful new large On30 logging steam power you have out now... i would like to ask, in behalf of fellow HO logging fans... if you would consider making them in the HO scale.... as a HO'er and a collector of your HO Spectrum logging locos. i think the majority of us out here would jump on the opportunity to purchase those larger scale locos if they were in HO scale... (even for the guys in N-Scale would be nice ...)      I KNOW I WOULD... ;D

thanks.... :D

the problem with ho (and especially n) is the moving parts are susceptible to breakage.

Isn't that the case for every HO and N scale steam locos?

Dear Obs,
The Large Scale models are narrow gauge, so they don't translate to HO standard gauge.
We have made Shays and Climaxes in HO.
Have fun!

The Bachmann is right, the large scale engines are narrow guage protoypes, and wouldn't be really usable unless Bachmann were to enter the HOn3 or HOn2 1/2 field.  However, there were a lot of smaller standard gauge prototypes that might fit the bill of what you would like to see; they were discussed (and perhaps will continue to be discussed) on this thread:
