n scale trolley

Mr Bachmann, do the trolley poles on a brill n scale trolley function? If not can they be removed without damaging the trolley?

All Bachmann N scale trolley poles are not live and are made of plastic and are easily removable.

Thats what I figured, but how do you remove the pole? No screw that I can see, just cut it or pull it out? Nothing in the paper work on how its connected. I want to remove it and still be able to put it back on at a later date. Maybe it just pops into place? Any one removed a pole?

I think it just comes out if you pull it out.
