Train stops and goes? Why?

I have a G  scale Liberty bell big hauler
The train will go around 2-3 times and then stops. Kinda like it is charging up and then 20-60 seconds later it starts moving again.

Any suggestions I am new to hobby

It sounds like there is an issue with your power supply. It may be overheating or just going bad    .

thanks I thought it may be power supply cause when it stops if I shake the transformer thing it starts going again.

Be sure all connections between the power pack and the track , and any other connections to the power pack are firmly connected.   A loose connection may cause an overload which trips the internal circuit breaker.

I f all else fails call Bachmann Service.
