I purchased a Royal Blue Line B & O (New York-Philadelphia-Baltimore-Washington) set including 4-6-0 Steam Locomotive with Tender and cars.  I discovered when I went to run the train for the first time the Front set of directional wheels (just behind the cattle cage) on the Locomotive do not appear to be attached properly (I believe the truck assembly is broken) there is a plastic post surrounded by a spring with the circuit pick up wires running through it. In comparison with my Pennsylvania model the post appears to be broken right where it connects to the truck axles.

I have tried to search the site for a replacement part but this does not appear to be available, can the post be glued back together with something like Gorilla glue?

I am trying to have the sets up and running soon for my grandchildren (5 sets in All,) by next week, this is my only glitch.

Did you try calling the service dept. (tab on the left) for a replacement part?
I prefer a plastic welding glue  (Ambroid ProWeld, Plactruct PlasticWeld, Tenax, etc.) for a strong bond.

I have about a hundred pilot truck frames, most are brand new.

I will send one to you for the price of the postage ($5.00).
