How Do I Set the Train Number on the E-Z Command Control Unit?

Hello ... hopefully an easy question.  I'm trying to help my soon-to-be 15yo grandson with setting the train number of a BlueLine Locomotive (equipped with DC Sound) on the Bachmann E-Z Command Control Unit.  The technician at our local train hobby shop installed the proper Decoder in the BlueLine Locomotive and tested it for me (the technician sent me a video of the train running with sound).

However, my grandson and I are confused as to how to set the train number (#55) on the E-Z Command Center Unit.  I purchased the Bachmann DCC train set 2 years ago - I've made no changes to the factory-programmed settings or address buttons.  I've read through Bachmann instructions, but I think I'm just getting confused by the terminology.  So basically, I need to know what buttons I need to push to set the BlueLine train number of 55.  I feel like this is a dumb question, but I so badly want this to work for my grandson.

Thanks for your help.  Blaine

The EZ command only accepts train numbers 1 through 10.  You need to either have the hobby shop guy to set the decoder to address 10 or less, or get a more advanced DCC system that will take higher numbers.

The EZ command instructions should've said that, but it might be buried, been a long time since I've seen them.

Trainman203 ... thank you so much for your reply.  I will have the hobby shop reset the train number to 5.

Thanks again!
