2 truck shay compared to 2 truck climax

I have an 18" minimum radius and operate a 2 truck climax with short trains on 4% grades. Will a 2 truck shay perform equally well on this part of my layout?

Dear P,
It depends upon train length. The Climax is a little heavier, so it has a little more traction.
