Hi, guys ! Here's a video of my brand new 4-4-0 and 2-4-4-0 running on my track for the very first time:

Both seem, rather slow to me.
Is there any way to adjust the top speed of these locos using my DCC controller, or am I stuck with them the way that they are?

You might want to fix your track where the rail joiner isn't connected to the rail properly. Other than that, they  look good.

You have to learn much about the difference between model railroading and playing with trains.
Those locomotives don't go to slow , They go to fast.
Their max. speed in real life is not more than 38 Mph.

I agree with Ton's post, those trains are moving exceptionally fast for what their real-life speed would be.
Narrow gauge trains were never noted for high speed operations. In real life, they'd both be moving much less than half the speed you have them at in the video.

Understood.
A lot of people don't understand why these models are so slow as compared to other trains.
I just deleted a comment from the video where someone called these trains what comes out of the south end of a north bound mule.
Normally, I respect the opinions of other people, but it's my video, and I do not allow profanity, nor negativity in the comment section when it doesn't serve a useful purpose.
I don't usually run them all that fast,anyway.
I figure that constantly running trains at high speed will cause them to wear out quickly, thusly incurring pricey repairs, or replacements.
It's mostly when I'm making a video for my Youtube channel that I open them up.
I believe that many viewers get bored when the trains are running slow as I don't believe that the average viewer of these videos on Youtube understands the difference between scale speed and toy train speed.
They want to see these trains going as fast as possible.
I've had viewers express this very sentiment many times over the years I've been posting these videos.
And that even includes my G Scale trains as well.
People just don't seem to get it...
