Digtrax DSC Settings with Sound Engines

I have a number of On30 DCC equipped engines with sound decoders. My DCC system is an original Diogitrax Chief ( with upgraded software) with DT400 controller. I have always left the power toggle set for HO but with On30 Bachmann engines with Soundtraxx decoders and Two Soundtraxx 2-8-0 Constallations, I was wondering if I should switch it to the O/G setting?
Normally I only run two engines at one time, with the rest on yard tracks where the power has been tunred off.

I too use a digitrax system, you do not want to change this setting to O you must keep it on HO or N scale. I do not run too many engines at one time and I use N scale most of the time.
Please do not run on O/G setting. This will burn up your decoders and motors.

Thank you for the information. I'm glad I held off any temptation to flip the power toggle to the O/G setting.
