Dash 9 Headlight replacement

I received my new in the box Union Pacific Dash 9 locomotive last night , and noticed the font head light is not working . What steps do I take to check if the bulb is loose of if it is something else ?

Dear Tom,
Is it DCC?
If so, and you're using EZ Command, press Function and then 10 and the light will come on.
