And thanks very much for the comments guys, my next project is hopefully going to be an accurate model of Diesel 10. The face i am still deciding on, but my thoughts point towards the track-master magic railroad version, as well as the DOTD, CGI one. :)

I had a feeling you'd pick him for your next project. The face is pretty hard to get right, it's probably the only obstacle stopping me from trying a Diesel 10 project.

From what I've heard, the Bandai Diesel 10 face is pretty much perfect in terms of size and character, but due to it's rarity, you may as well write that one off. The Trackmaster Magic Railroad face on the other hand, is a bit wide and even with a fair amount of sanding, I don't think the whole face with fit onto a OO scale Warship (whereas the DOTD face does).

Either way, looking forward to seeing progress,

You know, I too plan to do a Diesel 10 project sometime. I'm sorry if I am stealing the idea from anyone, but it's something that I've always wanted to do. After all, Diesel 10 is my all time favorite Thomas character. Good luck with your Diesel 10 project though, Stepney55 :)
Bachmann never ceases to amaze me :)

I have started on a new character, G. Ruffy, S.C. Ruffy's twin! He is from the other railway and will make and apperance in my new series! He has stubble, and will have weathering, and, will be much more aggressive and rude than S.C. Ruffy. Sometimes bad characters are fun.  ::) I will post a video of him when he is done. :)
Heh. Scruffy and Gruffy the Twin Rudest Trucks in the UNIVERSE!!! :o :o :o Still, nice work on the name though! ;)

Your character "Jolly" looks great! ;D
Although you don't have to do this, but... maybe Jolly would make a good character for your Railway Stories of Sodor series. ;)
Thomas + Bachmann = the True Thomas Experience.

Stepney the 'Bluebell' Engine

I will be using Jolly at some point in the series alongside Hank, but that won't be for a while yet.

I can happily say that work on Diesel 10 has began. The LIMA 'Warship' i have, has been cut in half to make it shorter, since Diesel 10 only has three vents on each side, i am working from some screenshots to ensure the accuracy is correct, i will post up photos shortly of his working in progress. ;)

Good luck with Diesel 10! :) I also plan to make Diesel 10 sometime, to be honest (I'm not trying to steal your idea), by using a Bachmann Branchline Class 42 Warship.

Well done on Jolly and Harvey, how did make his crane arm?

Well done on Jolly and Harvey, how did make his crane arm?

The crane arm was made out of styrene sheet with help from a friend of mine, who has also built a model similar to mine, and was kind enough to give me the templates for making the arm.

I'm now working on my next new project, Diesel 10, while the chassis for the two SE&CR 'P' Class 0-6-0s are being built to resemble 'Bluebell' & 'Primrose', it's gonna be a while before these kits are built, at least until i get the chassis back from a kit builder who lives locally, just waiting for his phone call so i can go and pick them both up.

Diesel 10 is being made from a LIMA Class 42 'Warship', which currently i have cut in half along with the chassis to make it the same size as the screen captures of Diesel 10 as shown in the Magic Railroad, Calling All Engines and Day of the Diesels movies.

Work in Progress:

The body isn't yet glued together, but the above photos show what his body will look like, along with the chassis, once they are rejoined, and any gaps found, will be filled in with model filler. I'll post some more photos as he takes shape. :)

Hey Stepney, I asked on YouTube but I figure I'll ask here. What are the trucks you use in your videos, they are great.
All I want is, Stepney, Boco, Harvey.

That's cool man, I admire your layout. When I move into a bigger place I am building a replica of all of Sodor, I have the space and I could really use a lot of your help with design, if you want to help.

Id be happy to help you out, in any way that i can. :)

My partner and I are looking at building a replica of Sodor as well, but with our favorite scenes from Series 1, once we have enough money to move into our own place.
